High street stores might be shaking in there boots?

You can see how a lot of high street stores might be shaking in there boots at the amount of people who have started doing there shopping online, There certainly is some incredible bargains to be had nowadays if you know where to look on the internet, for example Shopping.com and Dealtime.co.uk are both really great ecommerce search engines that can find you some fantastic deals on all kinds of products if your looking for things for the home like a new bed or if its for work and you wanted to buy Buy Office Furniture like a new computer desk you really can save money compared to the prices if you were to buy in the high street, and not only that you don't have the hassle of trying to fit it in the car.

Can't Sleep? here are some reasons why.

If like me sometimes you have trouble sleeping here are some possible reasons why

A Sleep Disorder
In cases of sleep apnea, the throat is blocked during sleep, preventing sufficient air flow to the lungs. The blockage may be caused by the relaxation of the throat muscles, too much fatty tissue in the throat--an obesity-related problem--or a naturally small airway. The condition leads people to snore as well as temporarily stop breathing during sleep, causing them to momentarily awaken.

Environment
Whether we're just born that way or it's a side effect of insomnia, some of us are more sensitive to noise at night than others. The temperature of your bedroom can also have an impact on how many winks you get. It's also believed to be better to have a cool rather than warm bedroom. Some studies have shown that it's the cooling off effect you experience after drinking warm milk or taking a warm bath that helps you feel sleepy.

Too Much Napping
You may think you're doing yourself a favor by taking a nap after a restless night's sleep. Think again. Experts say that napping during the day decreases your overall drive for sleep, which builds throughout the day, and may make it more difficult for you to fall asleep at night.

Late Night Eating
Eat a big meal before bedtime and you're asking for a restless night's sleep. Your body may be too focused on metabolizing your meal to relax. If the meal happened to be a big plate of pasta you could wind up waking up hungry in the middle of the night. Experts recommend eating snacks throughout the day so you don't overload at dinner and making sure you don't hit the hay until at least three hours after dinner.

Staying In Bed
If you're trying to sleep but having no luck, do yourself a favor and get out of bed. People tend to think that by sticking it out in bed, rather than getting up and doing something, they at least have a chance of falling asleep. But lingering can increase performance anxiety. After a while you may begin to associate lying in bed with your struggle to fall asleep rather than a restful snooze.

Depression And Anxiety
It's estimated that 40% to 50% of people with insomnia also have depression or an anxiety disorder. New research out of the Centers of Pediatric Sleep Disorders at the University of Rome La Sapienza shows the connection is present in children, too. A study looking at more than 100 children ages 7 to 11 who had a major depressive disorder and 200 of their healthy peers showed that 82% of the depressed, medication-free children had trouble sleeping, vs. 5% of the control group.

Too Busy
A hectic daily schedule can wreak havoc on your ability to get a good night's sleep, particularly if you don't make time to decompress for a half hour or an hour before climbing into bed. Most people need to spend some time processing what's happened during the day and planning for the next to help them wind down.

Alvin the chipmonk American Idol audition

I have used You tube a lot of time as I'm sure most of you have but I never thought of posting any videos of my own until a little while ago I was watching American Idol and just before I had watched the Life action Alvin and the chipmunks movie so thought I would make my own Video for You tube So using some software I have called Crazy talk I made an Alvin the Chipmunk Audition I took a picture of Alvin and took and made him sing using Crazy Talk The song is a Young Micheal Jackson singing the Jackson 5's - I'll be there with the pitch raised to sound like the Chipmunks.
then I added clips from American Idol for the Audition watch and find out what Simon, Paula and Randy think.

I Made it because I was a bit board but I hope you like it if you do I might do the full version of the song with Simon and Theodore soon
Oh by the way sorry everyone that not blogged for a while :-)

Toxic

Relationships
i can relate
Some friends aren't just worth keeping. It's the friend who promises to pay you back money loaned and is nowhere to be found when collection time comes around. It's the friend who doesn't even bother to smile at when you meet down the hall but is all over you when she needs to hitch a ride home. It's the friend who gives you a call in the end of the night to tell you a problem that can wait till the morning. We've all had one or two( or more of them) before in our lives.
"Toxic, because they're just that: they leave you feeling unwell-drained of energy, or feeling bad about yourself. How to sift through the many faces of these friends?
*BARKADANG TOXIC* Here are the six kinds you better avoid
The finger pointer
This is the friend who likes to blame you, everyone else, or circumstances for her problems. Everything around her seems to always be contributory to her problems. Taking responsibility for her life is an alien concept to her. Blaming others is much easier and more convenient.
Favorite quote: "Eh kasi si(person/place/thing) kung di dahil sa kanya, di ako..."
The Whiner
This person likes-no, make that loves- to hear her own voice. When you meet up, it's all about her: her no-good boyfriend, her bitch boss, her manipulative mother. She can't keep a decent conservation without injecting some drmatic narrative about her life. Why does she do it? Simple: because she's an energy vampire- and dumping her frustrations on you is the way she sucks the life out of you.
Favorite quote:"hay naku! buwisit na buhay to! Alam mo ba..."
*The Needer-Bleeder*
She's the type who calls at midnight asking for your support, guidance, and understanding, advice or whatever she may perceive will get her trough the moment. When she calls, you almost always put the phone on mute and are urged to throw your phone in the pasig river.-or change your number.
Favorite quote: "Ano sa palagay mo? I feel so lost..I don't know what to do..I just need someone to."
*The Shamer8
This is the friend who likes to cut you off, put you down, or make fun of you in front of others. She likes to make you believe that her criticism is for your own good. SCARY, HUH
Favorite quote:(when you're meting up in a club with some male friends and you come in a regular off-the-shoulder top) "Sigurado ka ba na yan ang gagamitin mong damit? Eh mukha kang pokpok sa suot mo eh!"
*The Challenger*
She challenges everything you say. She likes to be right-always- and will pick a fight just to make sure she has the last say. Most often , she will, because you're just to tired to argue.
Favorite quotes: "Ows talaga? Di ba sabi ko sayo tama ako? Makinig ka sa 'kin. Maniwala ka"
*The Gossip*
Because she's probably afraid to share of herself, this friend likes to suck energy by talking behind other people's backs and getting the latest scoop. This friend is dangerous-heck, if she can talk about you.
Favorite quote:" O, si diona naman pag usapan natin".
Since friendships are meant to be meaningful, lasting relationships, you might as well be sure they're worth it. Ask yourself these questions and see if your friendships are for keeps-or to chuck:
Am I my authentic, rel self when I'm with this person? Am I accepted by them?
Are they critical of me? Do they pick on my job, tell me " I told you so", " this is they way it should be?".
Does the friendship have an equal exchange of energy? Or is it mostly one-sided?
Do I feel energized?-or drained- when I'm with this person?
Does this person share my values-or does she frequently challenge or push me to bend them?
Is this person committed to the friendship-or merely attached?
Does this person celebrate my successes? Or is envious? Does she pull me down?
Do I feel good about myself when I'm with this person? Or do I feel like DO-DOO?

ALCOHOL

A little alcohol can help protect your heart after menpauise, but too much can be dangerous. Alcohol slightly increases breast cancer risk while heavy drinking may increase ostereoporosis risk. But research shows that women are more vulnerable to the effects of alcohol than men, so they're more prone to serious problems such as liver disease and alcohol-induced brain damage.

The new age of science

In the past, the mind-body connection was considered New Age mumbo jumbo. This is no longer the case.Even prestigious instituions like the Harvard Medical School now offer short term courses on Clinical Training in Mind-Body Medicine with subjects like 'eliciting the relaxation response', change your mind change your mood, 'youga:self-inquiry and redeveloping a relationship with the body'.
More and more research is directed toiwards the study of mind-body connection using sophisticated technology that measure changes in the brain and body chemistry caused by thoughts and emotions. Dr. Candace Pert of Georgetown University, author of Molecules of Emotion, The Science behind Body Medicine, studied neuropeptides, molecules produced by the nervous syestem. Her work implies that all of our cells experience emotions, all together, all at once. When we are happy, all our cells from our internal organs all the way to our skin are happy, too. Same goes for sadness, fear, and anger! Can you imagine what happens to your body when we are sad, fearful, and angry for long periods of time? Combine this with genetics, poor lifestyle choices, and an unhelathy environment and disaster could follow! Other reasearchers and wellness practitioners like louise l. Hay cancer survivor and bestselling author of heal your body and you can heal your life, go as far as saying that even cancer can be traced to long-term deep resentments and self-defeating belief systems that literally eat away at the body.
While it's true that not all diseases can be overcome without medical intervention especially if it has already manifested on the physical body, wellness gurus say that we still have the capacity to live a joy-filled life amidst illness with the mental and emotional choices that we make everyday. Healing is multi-dimensional.As the mantra goes: Change your mind, change the world!
This is the best thing about the mind-body principle in holistic health. It puts the responsibility and control of wellness,-and conversely, illness-on the person who matters most: YOU

Important Beauty Tip

Although shaving is the most important hair removal method, it doesn't last very long. It actually speeds up hair re- GROWTH AND CAUSES HAIR TO GROW BACK THICKER. Generally, you're better off with either depilatory creams or waxing. If you can't have it done professionally and want it to a D-I-Y at home, You have to find the products that suit your skin needs.. Unfortunately,,you have do some testing since our skinreacts differently to both methods: the only way to know what work for you is to see the sffects, first-hand. Read labels carefully and follow instructions . Do not exceed the required time before taking out or washing off productr, as this may lead to irritation or minor sking damage.

Junk Food

Know more about it:
Chips, packs of salted goodies, but junk food is precisely that~junk. It's tasty (especially when it's in your favorite flavor) but gives us nothing but empty calories (meaning we gain weight but we don't get any nutrients form it).
*Diet and junk food do not go hand~in~hand.
*Junk food's appeal is also caused by time or pressure concerns. It's packed in a way that makes it handy to eat or take anywhere.
But: Junk food will never give us nutrition that our body needs.
Some of its harmful effects:
*Lack of energy
*Poor concentration
*Heart diseases
*High cholesterol
How to deal:
Self~discipline is what you need to be able to swerve away from your junki~addiction. If you're really craving for something to munch on, the least you can do is substitute the flavored varieties with the plain~flavored ones, or better yet opt for a bag of popcorn(but not the microwavable kind).
